One-hundred-fifty dealers and distributors from more than 30 countries assembled in glorious weather at the Seppi M. factory in Caldaro in the mountains of the North of Italy on Oct. 27 for two days of demonstrations of new or updated machines. Seppi M. also celebrated its 75th anniversary. This meeting was by far the biggest event that Seppi M. has hosted in their history.
The range of machines that Seppi M. manufactures dictated that five separate demonstration sites were needed. Tractors of 50-hp. to 500-hp. were used, and excavators from 1.5 to 15 tons. Local contractors and international manufacturers combined to put on a very professional show of more than 30 machines including new monster 3.5m Maxisoil on a Class Xerion 5000 tractor.
Forestry machines featured in an area of forest, which was being developed into a leisure park.
Distributors had extended opportunities to discuss features and development ideas with the Seppi M. personnel and also gathered at the local cinema to see a presentation of the products, assisted by instant translations into five languages by Seppi M. staff.
Everyone who attended agreed that the organization and content of the event was “top class,” as was the range of machines presented.
